Week 15 #4

My favorite website is http://www.imdb.com/. This stands for "Internet Movie Data Base" and it is a one stop shop for anything you need to know about any movie. What I like about it is you can type in a movie you want to know more about. It pops it up with information like the plot, actors, quotes, and much more. Say you like an actor in a movie, you find the movie and then click on the actors name. The site then takes you to that actors profile that lists every movie they have been in. You can then click on any of those movies and see all the information about it. Basically if you want to know something about a movie or an actor, go to imdb.com

Week 15 #3

What is the favorite thing that I own? My answer would be my TV and surround sound. Last year I bought a nice 48 inch flat screen and for Christmas I got a sweet Sony surround sound. It's pretty awsome watching movies and especially sports in HD. It's also cool because I have my computer hooked up to it so I have that as my monitor. Imaging if the screen you were looking at was about 20 times bigger!

Week 15 #2

Where do I see myself in 15 years? In 15 years I will be 38. I plan on have a family, house, and advanced in my career. I am working on my masters right now so that i will one day be a principal of a school. Often times a new principal will start in a small school and get some expierince before moving on to a larger school. In 15 years I hope to be either at my second or third school where I plan on staying for the rest of my working life.

Week 15 # 1

If I were the last person on earth I would do several things. The first thing I would do would be drive to Omaha and get my hands on the coolest car I can find. Being Omaha this would pry be a Corvette or maybe a Viper. I would then drive to Chicago and find the Ferarri dealership so I could cruise around in style. I would go stop by Jimmy Johns because I could pry figure out how to make a sandwhich pretty easy. It might be kinda hard to make some McDonalds if I wanted that. Once I get the car and the food I would then drive down to Florida and go to a waterpark. I love waterparks but hate the lines so this would be great. This would be fun for a while but then when I realized i was all alone it would get pretty depressing.

Week 12, #4

If I could have a roll in any tv show or movie I would pick "Saturday Night Live." The reason I would pick this one is because i love making people laugh and all of the characters on the show are really funny. I also would like to do this because the actors from this show often go on to be really big movie stars like Will Ferell, Chris Farlely, Jimmy Fallon, Adam Sandler, and so many others. I grew up waiting all week to watch this show and to be a part of it would be very cool. Each week they also have a very popular music artist perform so I would get to see a bunch of concerts for free!

Week 12, #3

If i could have any pet in the world it would be a trained killer whale. I'm not sure what it is about them but I have always thought they were really cool. When I was little I went to Sea World in San Antonio and at the Shamoo show my dad got pick to go up and "train" him. It was pretty cool, I was very jealous. If i had one I would also have this huge pool in my back yard that I would swim around in, use jet ski's, and of course swim with my killer whale.

Week 12 #2

“What is the greatest game in the world?”

I feel that the greatest game in the world was the 1980 US Olymipic Hockey game. This was The United States vs. Russia. What made this so great was that America was not suppost to win and they did. The Rususians dominated world hockey for decades before this but the Americans still won. This was made into a movie several times but most recently Disney made a movie a called "Miracle" about this. It is pretty much my favorite movie.

Week 12, #1

What is my favorite restaurant and what do i usually get there?

My favorite place to eat is Johnny Sortino's in Omaha Nebraska. It's a pizza place so I obviously get pizza there. The reason why this is my favorite place to eat is because their pizza is far better than any other place I've tried. Believe me I have tried other places. I always try to find good unique pizza places in Omaha and by that I mean non-chain joints like Pizza Hut or Little Caesars. I have tried about 10 different Omaha pizza places and Sortino's kicks all their butts. Their pepperoni pizza is the best. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Mmmmm I'll pry eat that this weekend.

Week 10 #3

It would be very difficult to choose a place to live if I could choose anywhere in the world simply because I havn't been too far away from America. I have been to mexico and canada and all around the midwest but other than that not too far away. Of the places I have traveled my favorite would be Chicago. I love the city but I don't know if that would be the place I would choose. I would have to go with a tropical island somewhere. I wouldn't choose Hawaii because its the obvious answer but I would rather go to an equally beautiful and peaceful place, but instead some remote location where very few people live. Gotta love beaches...AND WARMTH!

Week 10 #2

Whenever people ask you what your dream job is you should think about what you love most. In my personal life I love going to concerts. With this in mind I would be the singer of a popular rock band. I'm not talking about a band that tours around Nebraska, I'm talking about a band that has the number one album in the country, tours around the world, sells out shows, and has everyone scream the lyrics along with me. The energy that is put off in concerts are unreal and to be the person responsible for it would be awsome. I would be smart about it unlike most popular rock bands. I would save money, not do the drugs, and make all the shows that I book. If I do these things the bands popularity would last forever. Too bad I don't know how to sing so this will never happen. :(

Week 10 Post

If I had a million dollars I would buy a house and pimp it out. Some of the things that I would put in would be pool, a movie theater room with the highest quality sound and picture you can buy, and a hockey arena that can be used year round. I wouldn't just put a simple blow up pool in my back yard..no, this would be one sick pool. I would have multiple slides, a fish tank build around the pool so it looked like it was a part of it, some way to turn the entire pool into a hot tub, and an island in the middle with a bar and grill on it. As far as the hockey arena goes it would be full sized, have a weight training facility in it (so you stay cool when you work out), and a machine that automatically shoots pucks at me from random area. Not sure how this would work out but it would also be the summer training facility for the New York Rangers.

Top Ten Concerts I've Seen

10. Disturbed

I saw Disturbed last year in Kearney at the Event Center. I'm not a huge fan of their music but I included it on my list because their mosh pit was the most intense one I have ever been in.

9. Aranda

I'm almost positive that none of you have heard of this band. They aren't super big yet but they opened for a Tantric and they basically upstaged them. Great energy from these guys.

8. Staind

Staind is one of those bands who you know will always have a good live show. Some bands are good one night but disappointing the next. I have seen staind about 4 times and each one has been great.

7. 311

If you don't know anything about 311 they are a band that started in Omaha and now are very famous. I have seen them only once but that show was amazing. The atmosphere was so intense that you couldn't help but have a good time.

6. papa roach

Papa Roach has nothing but great songs. The energy they put off can be felt all throughout the concert. Great band and great live shows.

5. Breaking Benjamin

A Breaking Benjamin concert is a pretty sweet experience. This is a band who you can feel their dedication to their music every time they play.

4. Blink 182

You don't go to a Blink concert for the music, you go for the show. By that I mean that going to one of their concerts you get entertainment. The three members are absolutely hilarious and they make jokes and funny comments all show long.

3. Korn

You gotta love Korn. This is most likely the best band I have heard live. What I mean by this is that they sound almost identical to their cd's.

2. Shinedown

If you ever have a chance to see shinedown do! Their shows are simply amazing. They get the entire crowd into it somehow. I can't explain it but you just feel a part of the show.

1. Blue October

I know what you're saying...you think i only put this down as my number one because Blue October is my favorite band. Well that's exactly why i put it as my number one. If any of you go to a concert pick one that you know all the songs. This makes a concert 100 times better. I know each Blue October song by heart and I love all of them so they can never disappoint me.
